Shed building with local students

By Rob Zinke 11/22/2023, 6:00am MST

The Belle Fourche CTE Construction students with their instructor Tony Musilek

We are so excited to announce in partnership with the Belle Fourche High School CTE technical instructor, Tony Musilek, we are having a new storage shed built by the students to be placed at the Spearfish, South Dakota Madison Ice Rink and will have this amazing sign created by Sierra Design Signs placed for information about our youth hockey program.

We are looking forward to seeing the progress from the kids and will share photos as we get them. The materials were purchased at Roundup Building Center in Belle Fourche, South Dakota and they were gracious enough to give us a HUGE discount on materials!

Thanks so much to everyone, and we can’t wait to see the finished product on display in Spearfish.

About the Northern Hills Chinook

The Northern Hills Amateur Hockey Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of youth hockey, figure skating, and recreational skating in the Northern Black Hills of South Dakota.  We invite you to join us in our efforts to bring hockey and a rink to Spearfish. Finding a location for the rink has been challenging to say the least, but hopefully we meet that challenge soon and take it to the next level.

We still have a way to go, and fundraising is our next big step. You can aid the cause by clicking on the donate tab because every little bit helps. If you are considering corporate partnership, please contact one of our board members and we can share our vision and options with you.

Help us bring hockey and ice skating to the Northern Hills. #ItsTime
